Product engineering

Custom SaaS and internal systems development

From a manual workflow to a product your operation can use, measure and evolve.

For founders who know an industry firsthand, have access to users or a recurring problem, and want to explore a product of their own. You bring domain knowledge, context and access; together we scope hypotheses, an MVP and observable signals. The engagement turns the agreed slice into software, but does not guarantee product-market fit, revenue or adoption. Hosting, external services and ongoing maintenance have separate costs and terms.

When it fits

Problems this engagement solves

  • The operation depends on spreadsheets, messages and rework to keep data synchronized.
  • There is a validated idea, but the workflow still needs to become an MVP with an evolvable architecture.
  • An existing product needs authentication, permissions, billing, an admin panel or technical recovery.

Possible scope

The first milestone may include

  • Current workflow, users and acceptance criteria
  • Architecture and first milestone slice
  • Responsive interface and real states
  • Backend, database, authentication and permissions
  • Integrations and billing when included in scope
  • Preview, QA, documentation and handoff

Milestone-based process

Every step ends in something you can open, test or approve.

01

Diagnosis

We start with your industry knowledge, the recurring problem, the users you can reach and the hypotheses to test.

02

First milestone

We define deliverables, exclusions, acceptance, timeline and investment before the build.

03

Navigable preview

You open, test and validate the workflow before the next milestone.

04

Acceptance and production

We run the agreed gates and deploy or hand off according to the engagement.

FAQ

Questions before starting

Do you only build MVPs?

No. I can build the first milestone of a new product, evolve a production system or recover an existing codebase. The slice depends on risk and expected outcome.

Do I keep the code and data?

Ownership, repository access, credentials and handoff are defined in the proposal. The architecture avoids forced dependency on JE4NDEV.

How long does it take?

The final timeline is defined only after mapping integrations, data, risk and acceptance criteria. The proposal always starts with a verifiable first milestone.

Do I need a validated idea?

You do not need all the answers up front. It helps to bring your industry knowledge, the problem you see and access to people who experience it. Together we define a hypothesis and what a first slice can test; that can reduce uncertainty, but it does not guarantee product-market fit, revenue or adoption.

Which bottleneck do you want to remove?

Describe the current workflow, who uses it and where it breaks. I will return objective questions and a possible first milestone.
